About Us

Artisan Sharman Naylor has been creating a unique and alluring range of Wearable Art and Glass Art Creations at Studio Varelli, Wooloweyah, NSW.

Sharman's love of glass started over thirty years ago but kiln formed glass art (fused and slumped) has been the main focus of her works in the past ten years, including pieces based on natural themes.  Her work has now moved into the world of Pot Melt Glass creating interesting pieces using this ever evolving medium.

Sharman is an artist who takes great pride in what she creates working in a country home studio where family and friends enjoy nature and tranquility.

Artisan jewellery designs included in the range have been rhodium-plated and silver-plated cuff bangles with large cabochons.  These stunning pieces are popular and suit today's bold fashion trends.  If you want something a little more delicate there are the linked bracelets with smaller glass art cabochons in a vibrant array of colours or pot melt slumped glass cuffs.

Sharman also delves into the art of felting and is concentrating on her range of felted hats, at the moment preparing for the Australian winter season.

Nuno Felting is also one of Sharman's great passions and her range of scarves and wearable art is also on display in our catalogue. This range combines the use of pure merino wools, organza and silk fabrics and fibres.

VARELLI ORIGINALS also showcases the "OOBSIE OOBSIE" range focusing on reversible children's clothing and handcrafted jackets.

When it comes to Wearable Art and Glass Art the possibilities are endless and Sharman looks forward to sharing these creations with you.
